Aleix Vidal unlikely to join Sevilla

With the final days of the winter market approaching, Barcelona are interested in selling tthe right-back to his former club Sevilla but his departure to LaLiga club looks to be impossible.

After his 17 million euro move from Sevilla in 2015, Vidal has not been able to prove himself at the Camp Nou and the Catalans are now keen to off-load him. According to MARCA, the negotiations between the two clubs for the Spaniard are at a stand-still.
Barcelona are already looking at other proposals, tired of waiting for Sevilla to raise their initial offer. Sevilla want a loan and a purchase for Aleix, who signed a four-year agreement with a two million a year salary at Barcelona, with the condition of participating in the Champions League this year. In that case, the club would pay six million plus two million performane related for the footballer.
Barcelona, on the other hand, have never moved from the 12 plus three in variables. The Andalusian club understand that the footballer retains a high market value and that he can turn out to be an important signing for the team. However, the Blaugrana want a sale (paying now or in June Teijas) and if Sevilla had reached an amount of ten million, it could have been negotiated for that price
