Alexis Sanchez is starting a new chapter with Manchester United but any hopes of staying civil with his former club Arsenal appear to have evaporated.
The Chilean completed his move to Old Trafford on Monday after Henrikh Mkhitaryan agreed to join the Gunners in a swap deal.
The 29-year-old lost support among Arsenal fans during his final six months at the club and he’s revelation that he’d spoken to club legend Thierry Henry about leaving the Gunners saw many supporters turn against him.
Arsenal take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in April and we could be in for a tasty affair after eagle-eyed supporters spotted the fact that the Gunners had unfollowed Sanchez on Instagram.
The official Arsenal account unfollowed Sanchez once he completed his move to Old Trafford and followed new boy Mkhitaryan.
Interestingly, the Gunners still follow former Gooners Theo Walcott and Gabriel Paulista – which suggests the nature of Sanchez’s departure has impacted their decision.
