
Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first English Premier League goal for Leicester City who came from a goal down to beat West Brom 4-1 at the Hawthorns on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Salomon Rondon scored an eighth minute opener for the Baggies, firing in Oliver Burke’s pass into the six yard box before Jamie Vardy restored parity for the Foxes in the 21st minute
Nigerian international Iheanacho who came on in the 60th minute for Shinji Okazaki made an instant by providing an assist for Riyad Mahrez to make it 2-1 two minutes later.
Iheanacho then gave Leicester a two-goal cushion in the 76th minute of the game before Vincent Iborra sealed the win in stoppage time.
The win was Leicester City’s first in 11 EPL games.
Iheanacho’s compatriot Wilfred Ndidi made his 30th EPL start of the season for Leicester in the win and bagged a yellow card in the 73rd minute.
At St James Park, a brace from Chelsea loanee Kenedy and Mat Ritchie secured a 3-0 home win over Southampton.

At Goodison Park, an own goal from Gaetan Bong and a strike from Cenk Tosun secured a 2-0 win for Everton over 10-man Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton’s Anthony Knockaert was sent off in the 80th minute of the game for a dangerous tackle on Leighton Baines and in the 88th minute Wayne Rooney missed a chance to make it 3-0 from the penalty spot after Dominic Calvert-Lewin was brought down.
