Yesterday, Veteran comedian, Alibaba shared a photo of an alleged fake cough syrup he got from the pharmacy
The cough syrup had a manufacturing date of April 2019.
It was also approved by the National Agency for Food & Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC).
Alibaba wrote on his instagram page,
“I miss #doraakunyili… They have postponed manufacturing date! We import from the future. No time”.
Alibaba has now refuted his statement after taking correction from one his Instagram followers.
The follower said this matter should not be taken as a joke as it can tarnish the image of the company and he expected Alibaba to make a thorough observation before making his conclusion.
The follower claimed to be a pharmacist and the head of operations of a major pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.
