Photo of a yam seller selling slices of yam in the market have gone viral on social media.
According to a Tweep who shared the photo on the platform, the man selling the slice of yam was said to be selling four slices for N200.
Apparently, this yam was slices in order to help people who can not afford to buy a full yam due to the increase in food stuff.
Lamenting on the high cost of food in the country, the Twitter user wrote;
“Can you guys see Nigeria??!!! Someone is selling slices of yam in the market (4 slices for 200 naira) so people that don’t have enough money can be able to afford this to eat. Is this your country???
